Timothy R. Jorden

Timothy R. Jorden Timothy R. Jorden attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business-Finance in 1989. While at Indiana University, he was named Academic All-American and Honorable Mention All-American for his contributions to the university’s football team. After graduation, he began his career as a professional athlete, playing football from 1989 until 1996 with such teams as the Arizona Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco Forty-Niners. During the off-seasons, he completed internships with Valley National Bank, Kidder Peabody and New York Life Insurance Company. Upon retiring from professional football, Tim entered the banking industry by joining State Savings Bank in 1995 as a residential loan officer and was later promoted to branch manager of the Ahwatukee branch. State Savings was acquired by Fifth Third Bank in 1998 and Tim was promoted to regional sales manager, managing the production and marketing of eleven loan originators in the Scottsdale region. He was later promoted to Assistant Vice President, a position he held until 2001 when he helped found Choice Lending Group, LLC in Scottsdale. During his two years as a partner in Choice Lending Group, Tim oversaw mortgage loan product development and marketing while managing the company’s loan production and staffing. After Choice Lending Group merged with Choice Bank in 2003, Tim held the positions of Loan Production Manager and Senior Vice President until 2005. At Choice Bank, Tim managed loan production, residential loan underwriting, overseeing loan product development and marketing, soliciting depository relationships and cross-selling bank products and services. In 2005, he joined 1st Advantage Mortgage where, as their Loan Production Manager and Senior Vice President, he manages all Arizona loan production, loan operations and staffing. In addition to his professional life, Tim has been involved with various organizations including St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, where he has been Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign since 2004 and Chairman of the 2008 Annual Giving Campaign. Tim has served on the Board of Directors for the Ahwatukee-Foothills YMCA and was Chairman of the Board in 2000 and 2001. Also, Tim served on the Board of Directors for Sequoya Elementary Site Council in the Scottsdale School District from 2004-2005. He is married to Laura, and has two children, Cassidy and Allison. In his free time, Tim enjoys coaching soccer and softball for both of his daughters’ teams and an occasional round of golf.
