OCC Approves Sale of Stock for Paradise Valley National Bank

New Bank Seeks $15 Million from Local Investors

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. (June 17, 2009)... Gary Hickel, President and CEO of Paradise Valley National Bank (in organization), is pleased to announce that the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has authorized the bank to commence the sale of stock. The bank will be capitalized at $15 million with individual investments of $10,000 to $1,485,000. Shares will be offered at $10 per share with a minimum purchase of 1,000 shares and maximum purchase of 149,850 shares.

"Our board of directors, officers, and advisors have all worked tirelessly over the past two (2) years to bring us to this day," said Hickel. "We believe that today's market presents unprecedented opportunities for a community bank like ours to prosper. The current economic crisis has rendered many banks unable or unwilling to serve their customers. We can serve them without the challenges of non-performing loans, capital constraints, or liquidity issues holding us back. Stock subscriptions will be held in an independent escrow account until all conditions relative to opening – including capitalization of at least $15mm and receipt of an FDIC insurance certificate -- have been met. The bank's physical location will be 5010 East Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale, immediately adjacent to Paradise Valley, one of the nation's most prestigious and affluent communities.
